Content:
Knowledge of the models used to describe IT information flows, roles and tasks (bugs, problem escalation and error escalation) in a Datacenter department (KOM).
Delivery and structure of the K&P distribution
Installation and configuration of the standard Klopotek products on the current Klopotek Release 8.5.
Installation of the Klopotek Web Application Server (WAS)
Installation of the Klopotek Authentication Server (KAS)
Batch processing (fundamentals, customization, printer adjustments
Document printing
feeding and consumer procedures
Use and configuration of peripheral components
Toolkit for the installation
Structure and QA of a Klopotek environment
The Klopotek Operation Model (KOM) employs subsections of the proven ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) standards and has been enhanced and adjusted for Klopotek specific requirements. The following disciplines: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, have together with others been abstracted from the ITIL Service Support Set to the Klopotek system.
Features that have been recently implemented such as for example the Klopotek Web Application Server (WAS) with the Java based applications KAS.WAR (Klopotek Authentication Server), MEX-BUS-SERV.WAR (Discount determination, Online invoicing) as well as moving systems (Cloning) on the basis of the Klopotek Operation Model (KOM).
Not included in this course:
Installation of operational systems, Installation of an Oracle DB, Installation of Fuzzy (Post and Double), Installation of a PPM Service Centre, Installation of Business Objects
Methods:
Each participant will receive a pre-installed workstation and a Toolkit as well as the documentation framework (SOD = Standard Operation Documents). The installation and administration of the Klopotek Release 8.2 will be taught with the aid of lessons, practical exercises and case examples.
