The Berliner Werkstatt Herstellung study group organizes industry discussions, brings production and IT specialists together with service providers, analyzes production processes and changed requirements, discusses technological developments, keeping its sights on the actual experience gained, develops strategies, benchmarks and standards.

The Berlin production workshop aims to add depth to industry discussions and to enhance production options for publishers by providing software which is ideally suited to publishing processes as well as the needs of its users.

The workshops focus on the actual experience gained by workshop participants and also look at areas shaping current developments. Similarly, strategic and future-oriented issues also have their place on the agenda.

Participants are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the range of services which the software offers, to check that it meets their requirements and to discuss the strategic objectives of using the application. This is a discussion which is continued on an ongoing basis.

The conclusions reached in the workshops are collected at the end of each meeting for joint discussion and evaluation. Documentation of the event is made available to participants and any specialists with an interest in the workshop.
