Ulrich Klopotek von Glowczewski, CEO Klopotek:

Dear conference participants,

What has changed over the past few years – and what has changed in comparison to 2009 in particular?
We are very pleased to welcome here the spokesman of the Berlin Senate and representative of our patron, the governing mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, the state secretary Dr. Richard Meng.
We are also very happy to announce that the Head of Börsenverein, Prof. Dr. Gottfried Honnefelder, and the representative of the Frankfurt Book Fair, Jürgen Boos, have both agreed to write a welcome note, which you will hear in a minute.

These are clear signs that this conference has established a unique position within the German publishing industry. This makes us grateful and also a little bit proud.

Our special thanks go to our sponsors. Without them this big step forward to up to 300 participants at this new venue would not have been possible. arvato, HGV and OCÉ are supporting the event as partners. Koch, Neff & Volckmar are sponsoring the Executive Lounge. buchbuecher.de and Buchakademie des Deutschen Buchhandels are further sponsors. And a special thank you to buchbuecher.de and OCÉ for providing the personalized conference companion. A very warm welcome to you all!

Agenda of the Publishers' Forum 2010
What are the perspectives of e-publishing? Check out the topics and who took part in the 2010 event: Agenda Publishers' Forum 2010 [PDF, 600KB]

Over 190 publishing professionals took part in the 2009 ‘from editorial to market’ event – more than the maximum the venue could hold. So after six successful events at the magnificent Bertelsmann-Repräsentanz, right next to the Unter den Linden Opera House, a new location for the Forum had to be found –  axica is one of the most inspiring and exclusive conference and convention centers that the German capital can offer, located right next to the Brandenburg Gate. Be inspired by the Publishers’ Forum 2010 (under the auspices of the Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit). Put ideas to the test and learn about other people’s new ideas.
