Towards an Electronic Book Workflow
At Elsevier, we are implementing an end to end digital editorial-production workflow for books. In this presentation I will discuss some of the principles and ingredients underlying this workflow, such as process, (functional) system architecture, suppliers interaction, organization and specifications. Klopotek's PPM (to be rolled out globally in the second half of 2008) will play an essential role in this infrastructure.
