Starting in 2005 at the Berlin Congress Center, the annual AKEP conference presents an opportunity for experts to provide publishers with information on recent developments in media technology, new publishing products and the latest international e-publishing standards.

The AKEP Award is also presented during the conference and honors the year’s most innovative electronic advance within the publishing industry.

Klopotek is an associated AKEP member and supported both the 2005 and 2006 annual conferences.
