Another successful Customer Information Day 2010 in Amsterdam en

Interest focused on last year’s business development, our strategic decisions for tomorrow’s future-proof IT concepts and development roadmap, and the new GUI with enhanced functionality for CR&R. Recent developments were presented such as the new Product Component Manager, our Component Content Management with ST4, new tracking tools for IT projects and last but not least how we are supporting our customers’ Order2Cash business models. Customers presented their experience with Klopotek as a reliable and innovative partner over the years as well as new projects they have started follwoing the first implementation.

We wish to thank especially Michael Healy from the Book Rights Registry, New York, for his keynote speech on the latest developments on the Google Settlement and the Book Rights Registry, which was very well received at the event.

International User Groups met on the day before the CID at the Klopotek BV Offices, exchanging experience and requirements regarding CR&R, Editorial & Production as well as ONIX, E-Books, the new GUI etc.

An evening cruise through the Amsterdam canals including a nice dinner on board (usually rather romantic, this year unfortunately almost drowning in heavy rains) was a perfect break to relax between two informative days.
