About 150 users at CRC Press have now started working with PPM at the company’s Editorial, Production and Marketing Departments. During the implementation process, the existing PPM setup for T&F was adjusted to fit CRC Press’ specific needs.

As a result of the implementation of PPM in Florida, there is now one global database serving as the main pool for all product and production information at T&F. Further benefits are:

• The Florida team is now able to notify key personnel of important changes to production projects.
  
• New or improved standards for data quality have been built into the existing system at T&F.
  
• Order number generation has been automated.
  
• Further functionality has been added in PPM (version 8.5) regarding production workflow and product marketing, e.g. uploading customer lists for catalogs is now possible.
  
• CRC Press now receives individual reports.
  
• Additional parts of the Product Pool, e.g. product relations for marketing purposes, can now be used.
  
• ONIX batches have been automated.
