Klopotek, the leading international software solution for publishers, started to replace the complete subscription and marketing systems at Haarlem based VNU Business Publications BV (VNU BP), the Dutch subsidiary of VNU Business Media Europe. Within the space of just 168 days, VNU BP successfully went live with the Klopotek publishing software on October 1st.

Klopotek BV invited its customers to this year's Customer Information Day that was held on 26 May 2005 in Amsterdam. The publishers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden were informed about the latest developments in the Klopotek software and had the possibility to exchange information among themselves.

Klopotek & Partner GmbH implemented the Klopotek Publishing Solution at Liber AB, Sweden's leading educational publisher, based in Stockholm, within a timeframe of just nine months. By March 2005 the former back-office system had been replaced at Liber AB and their subsidiaries Liber Distribution and Liber Hermods (Liber’s e-learning company).

 

 

›What do we mean by standard?‹ – the »Berlin Production Workshop« came together for the first time at the end of January to discuss this central issue. Thirty-five production management representatives from German publishing houses, universities, consulting and service companies participated in the workshop, which was initiated by the software provider Klopotek & Partner GmbH.
