Klopotek launches "Klopotek Software as a Service”

Klopotek offers a new solution, Klopotek Software as a Service (SaaS), an Internet-based, On-Demand-Service allowing publishers of all sizes and types to more rapidly access the power of the Klopotek software.

The following modules are currently available as part of the Klopotek SaaS solution:

• Editorial & Production
• Contracts, Rights & Royalties 

Klopotek SaaS runs in independent professionally managed 24/7 data centers and is accessed over the internet. The software requires essentially no installation at the customer’s premises; the service includes all associated technical and professional services as well as all required software licenses and maintenance. There is guaranteed availability and contracted service levels during office hours. For a small monthly fee per user the service is available and ready to be used.

The Klopotek SaaS solution embodies best practice business processes for publishing. Detailed research and analysis, extended networking with international publishers and the experience gained from a large number of implementation projects have allowed Klopotek to develop a pre-configured solution of the standard Klopotek software. Following user training it is ready to be used “out of the box”.

Klopotek SaaS provides a more rapid and more cost effective solution compared to an individual implementation on customer site. The customer can pick and choose functionality from the numerous features of the solution which support pre-configured publishing business processes. Using Klopotek SaaS requires only a short initialization exercise and allows the customer to start right away with a running, tested system.

Klopotek SaaS is a solution that responds to the industry’s current economic constraints. With no requirement for a major upfront investment publishers have the opportunity to improve their business processes, reduce costs and get ready for the future.
