User Group North America 2012

The Klopotek User Group North America took place from 19-20 September 2012 in Orlando, Florida.

More than 30 representatives from publishing houses all over the US engaged in discussion on the future of the industry and found out about Klopotek's product enhancements, both already done and planned for the future (presentations by George Logan, Eric Reiss, Regina Haemel, Michael Mehl, Srinivas Yeditha).

The night before the meetings, Klopotek and Temis hosted a reception during which an “Ugly Shirt Contest” took place. Robin Ryder of CDC won the prize (a Mickey Mouse Cap) for the ugliest shirt.

Susan Lehrhaupt continued the tradition of presenting a roundup of customers activities over the last year.

Other Contributions came from F.A. Davis Company, Publishing Perspectives (Ed Nawotka, keynote speaker) and Temis, a provider of text mining solutions, BPR, a documentation company, and Paradigm, a Microsoft Dynamics partner.

Klopotek would like to thank all participants for coming and sharing their thoughts with us. We look forward to welcoming you next year in ...? (Check back in due time to find about about next year's location.)
